UEi Test Instruments designed the ATTPC2 to enable easy surface measurement of pipe temperatures for applications such as calculating Super Heat and Sub-Cooling or temperature drops. The jaw is spring-loaded to allow for hands-free measurement and of pipes ranging in diameter from to 1 . The UEi ATTPC2 will work with any Digital Multimeter or Digital Thermometer designed with a K-Type Thermocouple Input. The UEi ATTPC2 temperature range is -40 to 250F (121C) and is accurate to 1% rdg or 2.5F. However, thermocouple accuracy is also influenced by the accuracy of the DMM or Digital Thermometer.
