Bushings are used to seal wall openings (both inside and outside) and protect coax cables, category cables (such as Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat3), Speaker Cables, and other wires as they pass through wall openings. They are weatherproof, UV resistant, and rodent resistant. They are made from high impact ABS plastic and can withstand the forces of installation. They are very durable. Seals wall opening and Protects cable. It is very common to use these cables along baseboards, walls, and other places - replacing where a wallplate (wall plate) would go. They are available in Black and White, and in Single and Double push-through openings. All bushings have two additional 'knockouts' that may be cut out (by simply pushing a rigid wire through) that allow for up to two additional wires to be run with the main wire (or wires). These are often used for grounding wire on satellite systems, telephone cables on cable systems, and low-voltage power cables for camera (CCTV) systems.
