With 7 inch of travel and a 6,000 lb. max working load with a 3x safety factor, this is an ideal tool for almost any spring. Vinyl coated ends protect the spring from damage, safety jaws keep the compressor stabilized on the spring, and the ball bearing load surface makes compression easy using simple hand tools. Use of both hooks per spring is required.
