This is a large size, heavily made, solid brass ship's bell, sixinch wide across the mouth it is of a heavy enough gauge of brass to be able to be used both indoor or out. the bell is deeply engraved happy hour. the clapper is also made of solid brassa beautifully knotted rope bell pull attached to it.the bell has a nice, lightly rounded sharp edge to the top of the belládecorative pinstripes around the topalong the lower edge that contrasts wellthe clean curve of the rest of the bell.the brass is left unfinished, so that it may acquire an antique type finish over time. if that is not wanted, it may easily be polished away.
