Mobil 1 Extended Performance 5W-30is a high endurance synthetic motor oil that is the grade and viscosity that is most recommended by car builders over the last 10 years. This viscosity is recommended for most newer vehicles including General Motors vehicles and many imports. The 5W-30is a good viscosity for a broad range of applications and climates. Mobil 1 Extended Performance 5W-20meets the following industry approvals, ILSAC GF-4, ACEA A1/A5, B1/B5, and API SM. It also meets the requirements for diesel powered vehicles where an API CF or CD oil is recommended. It is designed to provide protection and performance at extended oil change intervals of up to 15,000 miles or 1 year, whichever comes first.
