Cartridge features a patented corner snap that keeps the leader pin in place and the cartridge tightly closed and allows tape to flow freely. Patented, three-piece tape spool aids in tape guidance, distributing stress more evenly over the tape for better performance and longer archival life. Durability is enhanced by Imation dual-layer media using high-performance, Metal Particulate (MP3) media formulation. The write-protection tab design enables easy visual confirmation of write-protection status. A proprietary servo-writing method optimizes tape tracking and helps ensure accurate read/write operations.
