These mini starters from Chevrolet Performance feature a compact design that delivers plenty of torque and increased clearance for extended oil pans and header exhaust systems. These lightweight and powerful starters rely on a 3.75:1 gear reduction to spin a high-compression engine. Gear reduction starter is designed for 1958-1996 V8 and all 90 degree V6 engines. Compact design provides increased clearance. Weighs only 10.5 pounds and has a gear reduction of 3.75:1. Equipped with a dual bolt pattern for 12.750 inch (153-teeth) and 14 inch (168-tooth) flywheels. Housing can be rotated to clear exhaust systems.
