The tools' ergonomic handles are made of ash and offer a comfortable but sturdy grip. The blades are Flexcut's signature high carbon steel which is extremely sharp and flexible for enhanced control while carving. Gouges are measured by sweep no.(no.1, flat, to no.11, U shaped) X width. The 4 Palm Tools included in this set are no.3 X 5/8",no.5 X 9/16", no.8 X 3/8" and a 70 degrees X 3/8" parting or V-tool
