Wiring harness must be unplugged from existing backing plate and plugged into the new backing plate before installation

This replacement mirror glass comes with the backing plate already attached making installation quick and simple. It's quick because there is no need to pick off the broken pieces of glass or handle sticky adhesive or glue for installing the new mirror glass. It's simple because installing it only involves popping out the entire mirror backing plate, with the broken glass attached, and snapping your new one in its place. This replacement mirror glass assembly comes with convex mirror glass which means that objects will be closer than they appear. This unit has a heating feature, so please note, before snapping on the new plate the wiring harness must be unplugged from the existing mirror plate and plugged into the new one. This mirror glass assembly is vehicle-specific.
