The First Alert BRK SL177 Hearing-Impaired, ADA-Compliant Smart Strobe Light helps alert hearing-impaired individuals to fire/heat and carbon monoxide danger. When connected to a smoke, heat, or carbon monoxide alarm, the bright 177-candela Xenon LED strobe light flashes at an average rate of 60 times per minute in a specific pattern to indicate whether the danger is smoke, heat, or carbon monoxide. Designed to meet the UL1971 safety standard, the LED strobe light comes with a quick-connect wiring harness and features a green LED that illuminates when the emergency strobe light unit is on. The SL177 is specially designed for residential and commercial spaces including apartments, hospitals, hotels, motels, and dormitories.
