Originating from the early 20th century, sea grass has served multiple uses; today, our Sea grass Lantern is a stylishly repurposed solar lantern for the modern day home. The dried sea grass is weaved around a round steel mold, then fumigated and sun dried to ensure its weather-resistance. Located at the top of the lantern is a hanging single-cell solar panel (battery included) that absorbs sunlight by day and automatically turns on the white LED at night.
