This Eaton Weatherhead 1480X8 brass elbow fitting connects a 3/8" National Pipe Taper (NPT) female connector to 1/2" OD nylon tubing at a 45-degree angle. A female compression-type fitting and sleeve fit over 1/2" outside diameter (OD) nylon tubing and the sleeve compresses to form an air tight seal. The fitting is made of CA360 brass for corrosion resistance, ductility at high temperatures, and low magnetic permeability. It has a working pressure of up to 150 pounds per square inch (psi). This elbow fitting is suitable for use in air brake lines, such as those in buses and trucks.
