Lab pack drum with plastic lever locking ring lid. Ideal for the storage, transportation, clean up and spill containment of small containers (5 gallons or less). Constructed of 100 percent blow-molded high density polyethylene with UV inhibitors for superior strength and chemical resistance. These lightweight drums are nestable and incinerate completely. Drums meet UN Rating HM-181 1H2/X100/S, performance requirements of DOT 49 CFR 173.12(b), and can be used with packing groups I, II, and III of hazardous materials. Lab packs - for use with smaller non-damaged bottles, cans, carboys and 5 gallon pails of non-leaking hazardous materials - if leaking, must pack with sufficient sorbents for - No free liquids. HDPE is a very high molecular weight material, designed for an optimum balance of density,molecular weight and molecular weight distribution, demonstrating maximum property advantages for large products that require high impact resistance. Operating temperature range: (-30 degree to 130 degree F). Chemical and weather resistant. UV Protection package. Nestable for optimum storage. HDPE incinerates completely. Stack tested- 3 high at maximum weight capacity (24 hours). Drop tested – max weight at 0 degree F (48 hrs) – 6' drop. Lids feature closed cell foam or silicone gaskets. Lid closure instructions included in each drum.
