This Dixon 3500 Series air hose nipple fitting is made of heat treated steel and connects hose to a female NPT threaded connection. This nipple has a barbed end to create a tight seal on a hose when used with a hose clamp or crimp sleeve or ferrule (not included) male National Pipe Taper (NPT) threads on the other end to connect to female NPT threaded connections. This fitting is made of zinc plated carbon steel for greater corrosion resistance than unplated steel. It is rated to a working pressure of 600 pounds per square inch (PSI) at 70 degrees F. This air hose fitting is suitable only for air and water service applications such as air drills and pavement breakers.
