This flywheel is forged from a chrome-molly billet.Heating the billet and impacting it with a large 5000-ton mechanical forge yields an ultra fine grain structure in the metal, making it the absolute strongest flywheel available.Following the CAD design to maximize the flywheel's strength, greater heat dissipation, and reduced inertia, this Streetlite Xact flywheel was then CNC machined and computer balanced for quality and precision.It is lighter than stock flywheels, so you get the improved throttle response and acceleration that street and drag racers prefer, but it still retains enough inertia for reasonable drivability.
