Easy to install and easy to use for precise flow control
The Hot Max solid brass replacement needle value is great for use with standard propane and natural gas appliances. The needle valve has 1/4" Male NPT x 1/4" Female NPT fittings. If you have an issue with the valve turning and turning (the threads on the stem are no longer engaged), then loosen the nut under the stem, push down on the stem and turn the stem clockwise to re-engage the threads on the stem. Then tighten the nut on the stem back up. If you over tighten the nut, the stem will not want to turn in either direction. Brand: Hot Max, Model: 24209
