They reach an impressive CE cut level 5/ASTM level 4 and the comfort and Dexterity of these gloves is surprising, considering the fact that you are wearing a quarter mile of steel on your hands. Emerald CX gloves stand up to 1500 grams of force in lab trials, compared with heavyweight leather gloves that cut at less than 150 grams of force. That translates to ten times the amount of cut protection.
