The First Alert BRK SL177 Hearing-Impaired, ADA-Compliant Smart Strobe Light helps alert hearing-impaired individuals to fire/heat and carbon monoxide danger. When connected to a smoke, heat, or carbon monoxide alarm, the bright 177-candela Xenon LED strobe light flashes at an average rate of 60 times per minute in a specific pattern to indicate whether the danger is smoke, heat, or carbon monoxide. Designed to meet the UL1971 safety standard, the LED strobe light comes with a quick-connect wiring harness and features a green LED that illuminates when the emergency strobe light unit is on. The SL177 is specially designed for residential and commercial spaces including apartments, hospitals, hotels, motels, and dormitories. The emergency strobe light is interconnectable with up to 18 devices and can be easily installed with the included mounting bracket.
