The Valley Soft-Touch 20 Oz Pointed Tip Rock Hammer or Chipping Hammer, sometimes called a Rock Pick, has a 20 ounce head and is constructed of one piece drop forged steel with continuous forging grain flow from head to shaft. A favorite of Rockhounds and Geologist, the rubber grip is finger fitted, shock absorbent and non-slip. The Valley 20 Soft-Touch Oz Pointed Tip Rock Hammer is similar to the Estwing Supreme 22 oz Pointed Tip Rock Hammer. It differs from the Estwing mostly in the design of the grip and it is a bit shorter. The pointed tip doesn't have as much bend or bow to it as does the Estwing Supreme Pointed Tip Rock Hammer. The Valley Soft-Touch 20 Oz Pointed Tip Rock Hammer has a square faced striking head on one end and a pointed tip on the other.
