Are your stairway spindles too small for installing your Cardinal Gate Cardinal Gates Spindle Clamps are an excellent solution for mounting your Cardinal Gate to either wood or metal stair posts. These Spindle Clamps are designed to be used around a set of very small spindles, sandwiching around two of the spindles. These solid poplar wood clamps measure 8" wide. They fit on spindles from ½” to 1 ½” thick and a width up to 6 1/2", including both spindles. All clamps are size specific so be sure your measurements match before placing the order. Longer, 1/4"-20 hex head bolts can be purchased at any hardware store to use with these clamps for thicker spindles. Crafted from solid poplar, Cardinal Gates Spindle Clamps are unfinished wood so you may paint or stain to suit your décor. Typically, two clamps will be needed per side of gate. One clamp per pack; each sold separately. Spindle Clamp includes a 1/4" shim to accommodate angles or decreasing thickness. Cardinal Gates Spindle Clamps are made in the USA.
