Westcott's magnifying ruler is designed for use with computer printouts. Center section isolates and magnifies one line at a time. One edge of the ruler is ruled in an Imperial scale with 1/16" increments,and the other edge is scaled in centimeters. The magnified portion is ruled by number of lines on one side and centimeters on the other. Two other scales along the center section correlate with horizontal and vertical printout columns.
