Mobile Media Videographer's Essentials Kit

The Mobile Media Videographer's Essentials Kit is a complete audio for video recording solution for mobile phones! The kit includes a shotgun microphone, mounting bracket, fully adjustable mobile phone mount, and 3.5 mm cable with headphone jack. With the Videographer's Essentials Kit, you can record clearer, more targeted audio to videos recorded with your mobile device.

Targeted Audio Pickup

The FR-310 shotgun microphone has a directional pickup to target sound to the front of the mic and minimize unwanted background noise. It can be used to record audio only into the phone or to add audio to video. The impedance-matching cable connects the FR-310 to any mobile device with a 3.5mm jack. Once in place, the cell phone can be pivoted at any angle thanks to the multidirectional ball head mount. No more thumbs in your videos – the included bracket provides a grip well out of the way of the phone's camera lens.

Headphone Jack

The Y cable features a headphone jack for audio monitoring or audio playback. Real time audio monitoring is available on some recording apps.

Compatible with Most Mobile Devices

Thanks to the 3.5 mm connection, the Mobile Media Videographer's Essentials Kit works with virtually any mobile phone. The external microphone bypasses the built-in microphone for audio recording applications.

Camera Compatibility

The Mobile Media Videographer's Essentials Kit can also be used with a DSLR camera. Simply remove the cell phone clamp and ball head. Screw the bracket into place on the tripod mount on the bottom of the camera. You may then mount the FR-310 directly onto the camera or onto one of the cold shoe mounts on the bracket. This setup leaves two available mounts for additional accessories, like a light or camera-top monitor (as shown at left). Alternatively, the kit works with a GoPro camera! The GoPro camera can be mounted onto the bracket in the provided clamp. The FR-310 microphone cable plugs into the GoPro audio adapter to allow the mic's audio to be recorded directly onto the GoPro camera.
