Back in the late 1980s, our first Chase Harper Sales Manager, Bruce Armstrong, convinced his wife that riding an XL500 Honda Dirt Bike from Seattle to Alaska would be a good idea for a road trip. Using several Chase Harper USA motorcycle bags including the ET4000 saddlebag, a 1501 Eurosport tank bag, and a number plate bag, they still found it difficult to pack all the essentials during their ride. After weeks of being out on the road, Bruce and his wife returned with a few suggestions for a bag built for the long haul. Our bag designers then got to work and after some thorough testing and miles on the road, Chase Harper USA is proud to present the B'Alaska Bag. Featuring easy to use cinch straps, this bag can fit a wide variety of motorcycle and ATV models both as a tail trunk and as a rack bag. We've designed the B'Alaska Bag to be extremely simple. We chose not to include internal stiffeners nor dividers to make it possible to fold this bag down for easy transport and to maximize its storage abilities. We then added a rain flap to cover the zipper to prevent water from getting in, a bungee criss-cross with tab-lock to the top exterior, and D-Rings for an optional Shoulder Strap.
