Alfa International 1/2 HP meat chopper and grinder. It's easy to find an inexpensive electric meat grinder but it's much harder to find one worth the money. Alfa's MC5 meat chopper and grinder is such a machine, a favorite of hunters and do-it-yourself chefs. The chopper/grinder is built with steel gears (not hardened plastic) and a 350 Watt, 1/2 horsepower motor. The chopper/grinder is built with a die-cast aluminum grinding head and comes with a pan, auger, one #12 knife, three grinding plates (fine 1/8, medium 3/16 and coarse 5/16), and three food safe plastic stuffing tubes. The MC5 has a compact footprint perfect both for light commercial or home use, with an output of 2-3 pounds of meat per minute. Designed with a forward and a reverse switch for processing. This machine is also easy to clean and maintain. Comes with an built-in overload protection switch for safety during operation of the machine. Easy to clean.
