The Crane Single Groove Machined Steel Lock is machined from high quality alloy steel billet material using the finest Swiss-built, automatic screw machines and then carefully heat-treated. They are engineered specifically for today's high engine speeds and high-tension valve springs. These machined steel locks are the only locks to be used with our Posi Lock valve spring retainers. They are oxide finished for corrosion protection.
